Elementary School Tournament
Field Hockey Manitoba - Grassroots Game Day 2011
On June 25th we will be hosting a one day tournament and would love to have teams
entered to represent schools across the province. Tournament entry is available for

school teams, as well as individuals who will be placed on a mixed team
at the tournament. Sticks will be provided at the turf and mouth guards
and shin pads are strongly recommended. We will also have our Provincial Under
19 athletes on site to help coach your student/athletes.

The tournament will be geared towards elementary and junior high students, playing
in respective age groups. Games will consist of two 7 minute halves with 1
minute half time and the tournament format will be 7 vs 7 round robin play.

Springfield Heights - Champions
On Friday April 28, FHM hosted the 2nd Annual Elementary Tournament. Over 250 participants took part in the one day tournament. A big THANK YOU goes out to the staff and participants from Neil Campbell, Darwin, Springfield Heights, Lord Wolseley and Hampstead schools. FHM would also like to thank Gary Singh, Maggie MacDonald, Kim Plantz, Jaskiran Sidhu and Melissa Deonaraine for volunteering at the tournament.
